SUNSystems Specialist
This role is responsible for the administration of the companies’ accounting system (SUNSystems 5.2.1.) and its interfaces with other systems such as:
o Billing system,
o Bank interface,
o Payroll and Expenses interface,

This role is responsible for the administration of the companies’ accounting system (SUNSystems 5.2.1.) and its interfaces with other systems such as:
o Billing system,
o Bank interface,
o Payroll and Expenses interface,
The role requires the ability to understand and create solutions for day to day problems of the regional finance teams – identifying and implementing solutions to common tasks that could be eliminated / made easier through automation (for example, complex calculation activities).
This is a newly created role – the incumbent will be responsible for building up the collaboration with the finance teams in the region and understanding the accounting and system issues from the users in the various countries.
Major Responsibilities:
• Supporting the regional finance team members in using the companies’ accounting system (SUNSystems 5.2.1. and VISION 6) and its interfaces such as Billing System, Bank system, Payroll and Expenses, Cash collection.
• Administrator of SUN modules for Prepayments, Intercompany, Fixed Assets and Ledger Transfers
• Internal Helpdesk and support for day to day issues of accounting entry team (Blocked users, blocked processes, wrongly processed data)
• Administrator and support helpdesk of Integrated Date Entry Module (companies’ reference data administration tool)
• System Administrator for EMEA, responsible and administrator of SUN business units reference data (Setting up new users, updating user access rights, Ledger Definition setups, Uploading group exchange rates)
• Ad hoc project work as required
Qualifications :
• Excellent computer skills, previous experience with SunSystems & VISION essential, SUN 5 a plus
• Advanced User in Microsoft Excel; Knowledge of Visual Basic and able to program Macros in Excel
• 1-2 years professional experience in a similar role
• Fluent English.
• Analytical mind with attention to detail, and ability to “think out of the box”
